Lichtenberg figures

Lichtenberg figures are basically produced the same way as a Kirlian photograph with a pointy electrode as the object to be photographed. But instead of AC HV, DC HV with a steep rising edge is applied. To archieve this, I grounded the electrode with a high value resistor (hose filled with water, copper rods shoved into the open endings of the hose) and touched it with an electrode connected to my Cockroft Walton voltage multiplier . This way I produced negative Lichtenberg figures, for positive ones I just interchanged ground and HV.
